Born and raised in an artist’s family in Provence, filled with painters and musicians, and having lived in Toulon and Arles, Aline's love of art and artists was inevitable. She received an undergraduate degree in Art History at La Sorbonne and a Master's degree in Chinese Language and Civilization at l’INALCO (National Language and Civilization Institute) in Paris. During a subsequent seven-year stay in Beijing and Hongkong, she studied the symbolism and techniques in Chinese arts and crafts.
When she returned to Paris, into the lovely Montmartre neighborhood, Aline attended the Ecole du Louvre and the National Institut of Art History, before obtaining her National Tour Guiding License, with a specialization in intangible heritage (arts and crafts.) A recent interest in early 20th-century fashion designers led her to work with Cristobal Balenciaga’s foundation. She has also directed a short documentary about Madeleine Vionnet. Today, Aline loves to lead museum, fashion, and family tours.
