Alexandros Politis was born in Athens, Greece, one of the world’s oldest cities. Walking by ancient ruins, byzantine temples, neoclassical mansions and modernist buildings (all within a block distance) led him pursue a master's degree in Architecture with the National Technical University of Athens. As per his words: "The best part of staying in this busy Mediterranean hub is that you get to know exciting people from all over the world, either through direct contact or by studying history and following their footsteps. There is a story in every person and every corner; gathering and sharing them is what I love doing the most." He is a professional licensed tourist guide by the Ministry of Tourism and he also participates as an architect/designer in cultural projects (OTE Museum of Telecommunications, Aegean Maritime Museum, a.o.).
