Agnethe is a native of Copenhagen with a passion for history. She holds Masters' degrees in History and Danish Literature and has worked professionally as a guide since 2014. Having worked at the Royal Danish Theatre, the Carlsberg Brewery, and Kronborg Castle, she has an extensive knowledge of Denmark’s most important historic institutions. Living in Australia for a year has also given her an international outlook and a strong level of English.

Growing up in Copenhagen has given Agnethe a deep appreciation of the local culture and history, as she has personally witnessed the capital’s development from a previously worn-down old city to an international hotspot with a laid-back atmosphere and happy outlook. Agnethe has a special interest in royal history and how the monarchy has shaped the country’s history. She also provides a historical perspective on contemporary Danish society and culture, focusing on storytelling and the insider knowledge that comes from being a local.
