Our group of four toured the Jewish Quarter of Rome with our guide, Caesar, a delightful young man who met us on time as planned and provided us a superb introduction of the Great Synagogue, the Museum, and the Quarter itself. He had a deep and personal knowledge of the subject and particularly of the history during the World War II period which was our particular interest. He was, at one point, very rudely interrupted by a local woman who wanted us to bypass some of the "stumbling stones" commemorating Holocaust victims because they were in front of her residence (apartment building). He dealt very firmly with this conflict and did not allow us to miss this important landmark. We were all very pleased and appreciative or our time with him and his passion for the subject matter. We would recommend him highly for this tour.
