Imagine the hum of conversation, the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee, and the sweet, yeasty scent of baking bread. Stroll the picturesque streets of Rome, stopping every few blocks to savor a local specialty at small, family-run shops other tourists might miss.

This 3-hour tasting adventure focuses on Rome’s revered street food culture, offering a charming culinary wander through the city's heart with a local food expert. Your guide will be your translator, both in language and culture, unlocking a world of authentic flavors and experiences often intimidating to visitors.

Indulge in classic Italian food and drinks – strong coffee, fresh focaccia, creamy gelato, and crunchy biscotti. Sample cured meats and cheeses, and maybe even discover seasonal delights like fried supplì (rice balls) or pizza by the slice.

Between culinary stops, allow your guide to dive deeper into Rome's rich culinary heritage, from its ancient Roman roots to modern influences. Learn about the city's fierce coffee rivalries, discover the secrets of perfect focaccia, and explore the art of artisanal gelato.

What a perfect way to spend our first morning in Rome. Kind of sad that we had say ‘see you later’ to Chiara. After a full morning of tasting and exploration we know we have so much more to experience! Thank you, Chiara!
Chiara did a great job. Have a lot of historical information and the places we went had excellent food. She also gave great restaurant recommendations that we followed up with (Ninos and Pietro). Went back to two of the restaurants we visited the following day.
Massimo was wonderful, the variety of the foods, the history of each as well as the local history of region and neighborhoods. We would highly recommend him to anyone wanting to know more about the foods and history of Rome.
