Context's Paris private tours are crafted for those with a thirst for knowledge and a love for exploration. Unlike any tour you've been on before, Context experts dive deep to connect you to the soul of a place and hear the stories only locals know.

With over 30 guided tours, including tours for kids and families, food tours, and art museum tours there's a tour for you. Enjoy a Paris Private Tour of stunning artistic neighborhoods like Montmartre, take a Paris private tour and taste all of the delicacies this inimitable city has to offer.

What's our favorite? Well, it's hard to go wrong with our private Paris Chocolate tour, an intellectually curious look at the world-conquering sweet that covers everything from how such an innocuous bean became so beloved to why Paris might be the best city for chocolate in the world.

We also love our Musee d'Orsay Tour with an art historian, covering one of the most exciting and noteworthy periods of art. If we're feeling bohemian, let's alight to the 18th arr. for a tour of Montmartre – where we'll learn all about Lautrec, Picasso, and the rest of the avant-garde community of the late-19th and early-20th century. Our Paris private tours tours are personalized experiences with leading experts in French History, Art, and Culture.

Rosemary was a marvelous guide with unique insight into the history of fashion in Paris given her personal career experience working in a few of the finest fashion houses founded in Paris. She clearly spanned centuries of political and economic developments in France tying events and place to Paris fashion. Superb tour.
Celia was a AMAZING tour guide who made every sculpture, painting, or other exhibit we saw in the Louvre fascinating and memorable to my kids (2nd and 5th grade). They paid rapt attention to her from beginning to end, for the entirety of the 2.5 hour tour, as she was able to speak to them about art and European history in a manner that was at once clear, fun and developmentally appropriate. To captivate a 2nd grader (who happened to be jet lagged and hungry) for that long is, as any parent knows, truly impressive. She was also very receptive to our needs. When I told her my younger child was in need of some water she quickly adapted the schedule to include a detour to a patio cafe within the Louvre so we could recharge briefly before continuing. Her knowledge of the Louvre is incredibly extensive. I had many questions about things that she had not planned on showing us and she was able to answer every one. Our entire family learned so much on the tour, and in such an enjoyable way, that we would not hesitate to do another tour with her to see more of the museum if we ever get a chance.
Laurent was terrific! We were at the Louvre for a second visit after a "whirlwind" view of the "masters" on a prior trip. He was accommodating to my daughter's interests (she is 9), and was absolutely one of the most informative guides and interesting persons we have encountered. He showed us lesser known or less visited spots of the Louvre as easily and wonderfully as the more popular spots, and was informative about absolutely everything we saw. It was a lovely 2.5 hours spent and went quickly. We have been talking about all we learned since we left.
