Carlos took us on a superb Spanish Civil War Tour. There are few remaining sites from the war, so much of our tour was the background and historical explanations that Carlos provided, and he was excellent. He is knowledgeable, articulate and engaging. Conditions were challenging—the weather turned sour, and I had been fighting a bad cold to begin with—but he showed tremendous flexibility in modifying the program and was incredibly considerate while doing so. He is a first-rate tour guide that we’d put him in the group of the best guides we have met in all our years of traveling.

Barbara is the guide you’ll be delighted to have. She will take you to the hidden gems of Madrid. She seamlessly ties in her knowledge of art history architecture. Making the sites come alive in a way that no tour book could achieve. We loved every minute.

We did the full day tour of Madrid with Andrea today. She was amazing. She walked us around and pointed out major landmarks and places to see. She was able to vary our tour so we could see a couple of extra items we asked about. And, she pointed out several places for us to return. Her knowledge of the Prado was exceptional. We all got a lot more out of the museum than if we had not had her and relied on the usual tour. I highly recommend this tour to get a great lay of the land in Madrid.
