Five out of five stars is insufficient-our tour of the Prado museum with Adam deserves six out of five stars! We enjoyed an incredible, in depth guided tour and so appreciated the attention to detail that was provided. From extra details about inter-artist relationships, to historical importance/context, to appreciating artistic innovations in perspective and colour, we were able to enjoy all that the Prado has to offer, thanks to Adam’s knowledge and enthusiasm. We’re also grateful that he was able to accommodate our requests to view particular pieces. Overall, this was a very special tour that we would highly recommend to fellow art lovers.

Sean was terrific! I knew very little about the Spanish Civil War prior to the tour and am so grateful for what I learned. I particularly appreciated that Sean didn’t shy away from addressing the nuances and complexities leading up, during, and following the war as well as its continued impact on modern day Spain. He also did a great job of contextualizing it in terms of what was happening around the world at the same time as well as help me see Picasso’s Guernica beyond a work of art and instead as a central primary source in understanding the history.

The tour was terrific! Carlos helped make a museum that could be overwhelming accessible and he helped contextualize the works of art - from time period to artist to style, and more. A particular highlight for me was how he discussed and showcased the evolution of Goya as an artist. Highly recommend!
