We were surprised at how easy it was to spend 3 hours in La Boqueria. Esther brought an infectious energy and helped us see the market as locals do. We learned so much about Catalan food culture and why certain things are prized to come from different areas. The tastings were excellent and a good sampling of the best from the region.
We had an informative and lovely evening with Teresa, exploring the wines and tapas of the Catalonia region. As a professional chef, she was able to describe the ingredients and preparation methods that gave us insight into the foods we were enjoying. She was also very accommodating with some dietary restrictions our group had and made it fun for everyone. Our experience was easy and enjoyable - exactly how a Friday night in Barcelona should be!
This was the most amazing tour we've ever done and a true highlight of our trip to Spain! Biel was so knowledgeable and passionate about the history of Catalan independence and the Gracia neighborhood, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with him. I can't recommend this tour enough- do it the next time you are in Barcelona!
