Veronica was amazing and most excellent: Veronica was able to share Barcelona history, Modernisme (and in the context of Art Nouveau, arts and crafts, and Vienna Secession. She was not only an excellent tour guide, but also interesting, and fun. And she knew where to get the best coffee. One of our favorite guides.
We were surprised at how easy it was to spend 3 hours in La Boqueria. Esther brought an infectious energy and helped us see the market as locals do. We learned so much about Catalan food culture and why certain things are prized to come from different areas. The tastings were excellent and a good sampling of the best from the region.
We had an informative and lovely evening with Teresa, exploring the wines and tapas of the Catalonia region. As a professional chef, she was able to describe the ingredients and preparation methods that gave us insight into the foods we were enjoying. She was also very accommodating with some dietary restrictions our group had and made it fun for everyone. Our experience was easy and enjoyable - exactly how a Friday night in Barcelona should be!
