During our recent trip to Barcelona, my wife and I joined the Barcelona Tapas Food Tour, and it quickly became one of the best experiences of our visit. A major reason for that was our fantastic guide, Teresa. Teresa immediately made us feel welcome and at ease. Maria was very personable and passionate about the food scene in Barcelona. She took us to some amazing local spots where we had the opportunity to enjoy delicious tapas and local spirits. She sprinkled in some history and culture and showed us one of the local markets along the tour. Our family of three - myself, my husband and our 21 year old daughter - had a great night with Vicky despite the pouring rain! She kept us going and smiling the whole time! And took us to four different places in the area. We enjoyed all and did not go hungry!! We ate and drank well! We definitely would not have understood tapas without her explanations and guidance. We took that knowledge and used it again and again during our time Barcelona. Even our daughter who had been in Barcelona for two months learned a lot and explored a new area of the city. I highly recommend this tour and Vicky. I would suggest doing it at the beginning of your visit too because you can use everything you learn to make your entire stay more enjoyable.
